Bahria Town Rawalpindi, also called Bahria Town Islamabad because part of it lies in Islamabad Capital Territory, was Bahria Town’s first project (1997). It sits on both sides of GT Road and along the Islamabad Expressway, next to DHA Phases 1 and 2, and is home to well over 100,000 people.

Things to know in 2026
Bahria Town and its founder have faced court and NAB proceedings since 2023, including NAB auctions of some company-owned properties in 2025 and 2026. These have not stopped transfers in the established phases, but check the latest position before committing to a large purchase. Prices in Phase 8 have softened since 2024, while the established phases have held up better. The Rawalpindi Ring Road will improve access to Phase 8 once complete.
