Islamabad: A 16-member business delegation led by Deputy Director General, Department of Commerce of Yunnan Province of China, Mr. Yang Hui, visited Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Friday and took keen interest to invest in Pakistan with particular focus on hydro energy and construction sectors. The delegation was representing hydropower, engineering, construction, roads and bridges and export credit insurance.

KARACHI: The Sindh High Court (SHC) threw out on Friday a petition that challenged the environment impact report of the two flyovers and an underpass project in Clifton.
The developers will go to court on Monday to seek permission to resume work on the site, which has been dug up for the past six months.
Karachi: The Sindh High Court on Friday dismissed the petition filed by the Defence Housing Authority against the Clifton project observing that the DHA concerns were duly considered by the Environmental Protection Agency.
The DHA had filed a petition against the approval of the Environment Impact Assessment (EIA) report by the EPA for the construction of underpasses and a flyover in the Clifton area.

ISLAMABAD :The Capital Development Authority (CDA) is undertaking several reforms in the Estate Management Directorate for improvement and better service delivery.
Member Administration and Estate, Amer Ali Ahmed directed the Land Directorate to ensure transparency and prompt redressal of grievances of general public, said a press release issued here today.

ISLAMABAD: As if all the violations of the master plan that have already taken place weren’t enough, the CDA is planning to initiate high intensity commercial activity close to the Islamabad Highway and Kashmir Highway.
Overprovision of commercial activity will affect the financial viability of Blue Area.
